AiGS would like to announce a new kind of grant, called "AiGS Mission Scholarship" provided from this year.  

AiGS Mission Scholarship
 
This grant, recently sponsored by Ms. Eun Ran Park (박은란) for 10 years (2017~27), is awarded annually in the amount of one million won (roughly about $1000) to an international student who is recognized as the most trustworthy and dedicated person in AiGS community.
 
Four candidates are nominated with recommendations made by both (1) AiGS committee and (2) KESA committee – two candidates respectively. One student is finally to be elected by the AiGS committee (5 professors) as the winner of AiGS Mission Scholarship.
 
This very honorable student chosen is offered with AiGS Mission Scholarship an opportunity to visit his/her home country during vacation and should submit a mission report that deals with current information about Church and Mission in the homeland. (A4 10 pages in both English and his/her native language; other additional materials like photos or video clips can also be submitted)
 
Each committee of both AiGS and KESA needs to recommend two persons as for candidates and officially submit a written reference by the first Monday of October (Oct. 2nd), providing basic information about those students and essential reasons to recommend in detail.
 
 
Requirements and Consideration for Candidates
 
(1) Studying in ACTS at least for 2 semesters
(2) Accumulative GPA – 3.3 above
(3) Commitment to AiGS/ACTS Community
(4) Personal Integrity & Interrelationship to Others
(5) Recommendation by AiGS Student Body and KESA Student Body
(6) Self-Introduction by Candidate Nominated
(7) Church Recommendation (if possible)

P.S. Ms. Eun Ran Park (박은란) is the same lady who also decided to support the AiGS Excellence Essay Award Schorlarship annually (1 million won / 1 thousand dollars) as for a designating grant to those who are qualified among ThM/PhD students from this year upto the next ten years, 2017~27. AiGS would so appreciate Ms Park's wholehearted dedication and her missional vision bound up with our school.
