Library & Book Bank

The ACTS library was first established on the Seodaemoon campus in 1974 through a $100,000 contribution from the Billy Graham Foundation. Later in 1982, it was moved to Yangpyeong where it remains today. In 2004, a new ACTS library opened, providing a spacious and pleasant environment for students.

There are approximately 95,000 volumes, 230 periodicals, 15,000 theses and dissertations, 15,000 reference books, and other assigned books, and newly acquired guideline materials. The library also provides interlibrary services in connection with other Korean theological university libraries, the National Assembly Library, and the National Library of Korea.

Furthermore, it has access to a rich body of electronic resources through the American Theological Library Association (ATLA) which offers more than 488,000 journal articles, 215,000 essays from 15,300 multi-author works, and 446,000 book reviews.

Most of the lecture rooms are digitally equipped with wireless internet access, which serves both the faculty and student body to build and develop learning communities.

AIGS operates the Book Bank under the financial support from Elder Jeong Youn-Kuk. It is a kind of rental system that students to borrow textbooks for a semester. The Book Bank holds at least 3~4 textbooks for each coursework. The fee per book is 1,500 won per semester.
