Application Process

We are always pleased to have a high number of applicants inquiring throughout the whole year. From the moment we receive your complete application form and required documents in our office to the final decision of acceptance or rejection, the whole process takes an average of four months, provided you have complied with all the application requirements. Therefore, it is very important that you carefully read all the details of the directives you find in the application form. Otherwise, the process may take considerably longer. The deadline to submit the application package and the final notification is as follows:

*Th.M. + Ph.D. is a special degree program, devised to provide Ph.D. degree.
 
Your application package and credentials will be carefully reviewed by the AIGS Admissions Committee according to the objective evaluation parameters to fairly reflect your eligibility and abilities. Please be reminded that the application will not be processed unless all the documents are received on or before the above due dates.

AIGS Recruiting & Selection Policy

 
  1. Admission Priority: Prospective theological students from Christian minority regions.
  2. Minimum Degree Requirement: Holders of an accredited Bachelor’s Degree (B.A., B.S., etc.).
  3. Scholarship Eligibility: GPA 3.0 on a scale of 4.3, financial difficulties, etc. See the details in the scholarship application form.
  4. English proficiency (up to TOEFL 530 or CBT 197 or IBT 71 or IELTS 5.5 or CEFR B2 or TEPS 600(New TEPS 327) or National English Proficiency Test for Corresponding Scores) . However, a student who holds a nationality in a country that uses English as its first language or legal official language may change his or her qualification for the English Proficiency Test with the certificate that he has completed his undergraduate course in English.
  5. Dormitory: Currently not available for family. The student must come unaccompanied to ensure a room on campus.
  6. Round Trip Ticket and Living Expenses: The student must secure his/her own round trip transportation.
  7. Immediate Return: The student must return to home country within a month after the graduation date.
  8. The Applicant’s Minimum Tuition Responsibility: The student must be responsible for at least US $ 1,500.00 per semester.
